Old Cycle Ends NOW

I don't know what finally clicked but I woke up the other day and I was just really depressed because being over weight and having no energy.  I keep focusing on how crappy I felt and realized I shouldn't be focusing on that.  I need to focus on the future, being healthy, and being there for my girls.

I also started thinking about it.  What Blaine and I eat Ashlyn and Kinsley eat too.  They are gonig to continue with the bad habbits that I have now.  The other day Ashlyn had her own can of soda and that really grossed me out.  Come on she is 2 years old and doesn't need to be putting that filth in her little body. That is not what I want for my girls,  I don't want to be the one to blame for them having health problems and being over weight if I can help it. . . . . . . Let us all break the Old Cycle

Blaine and I both started our diet yesterday.  We may not be able to lose the 10 percent before dec. 31st but we will try our hardest.  Whatever weight we lose we will be happy about because we are that much skinner than what we started out in the beginning. :)

  2. It is hard to escape the cycle. As Fat Bastard says, "I eat because I am unhappy and I am unhappy because I eat!" It seems as human beings we are always seeking happiness. We crave the release of dopamine. The question is, where is the source of your happiness? Does it come from junk food? This will make you happy for a moment, but obviously leads to some serious side-effects. The most serious of which are not superficial; they silent killers. The ones that creep up on us over years and years of bad habits. 1 in 8 men have a heart attack over the age of 40. 1 in 2 men get cancer during the course of their lives. (Sorry I dont know the statistics for women).
